Summerland basketball team qualifies for provincials

The Summerland Secondary School Rockets senior boys basketball team has won a berth at the provincial championships.

Summerland was one of three teams to qualify for the provincials after placing second at the Okanagan Valley Championships in Kamloops on the weekend.

Nathan Dykstra was named one of the two all-stars at the Valleys tournament.

The provincials will be held in Langley, March 9 to 12.
