Gifts collected for Summerland’s Operation Santa Claus

Summerland Review and McBain Insurance working on 50th annual holiday gift drive

Gifts are being collected once again for the 50th annual Operation Santa Claus.

New, unwrapped gifts may be dropped off at the holiday tree at the Summerland Review until the end of business on Tuesday, Dec. 8. Gifts may also be dropped off at McBain Insurance in Summerland until Dec. 8.

Gift suggestions include puzzles, toys, toiletries, scarves, games, iTunes gift carts, quilts, shampoos, mittens, gift certificates, puzzle books, socks, toques, books and stocking stuffers.

The initiative is organized by the Summerland Review with the cooperation of McBain Insurance.

The gifts collected will be distributed through the Summerland Food Bank and Resource Centre to families in the community.

This is the 50th consecutive year the Summerland Review has collected gifts for this initiative.
