After a mild start to the winter, a recent heavy snowfall, followed by cold weather, has helped to remind Canadians that winter is here.

During this time of year, transportation has its own set of challenges as a result of the cold temperatures and snowy winter conditions.

Extra caution is recommended at this time of year. After all, no one wants to be unexpectedly walking in a winter wonderland.
