On Tuesday, Aug. 3, the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club counted scores using the Stableford method.
First flight: First Dee Dobson, 40; second Vijai Vaagen, 39; third Lil Smith, 35.
Second flight: First Maribel Rothfield, 39; second Vi Ward, 37; third Marie Gallant, 35.
Summerland Senior Men
The Summerland Senior Men’s Club format on Aug. 5 was a team event counting the two best net scores per hole.
The winning team with 91 points was Michel Perrault, Harvey Mitchler, Bob Dickeson and George Carswell. Second place with 89 points went to Charles Lay, Glenn Steinke, Don Michel and Dave Cain. Third place with 88 points was the team of Glen Brennan, Bruce Hammond, Pat Witzaney and Sandy McDowell. Fourth with 87 points was Dennis Glasscock, Gord Young, Ken Blower and Terry McKay.
Ten players shared the deuce pot with Bruce Hammond scoring a pair.
