Present and former members of the Summerland Secondary School Rockets basketball teams will meet in the annual homecoming tournament this Saturday.
The tournament begins at noon and continues through to the evening.
It is organized by Don Walker and Blair Haddrell, former basketball players at the school.
The first game, at noon will have the current boys basketball team playing the graduates of 2009 and earlier.
At 1:30, the 2010 to 2015 boys alumni team will face the 2016 to 2018 boys alumni team.
The girls team will face the girls alumni team at 3 p.m.
At 4:30, the loser of the noon game will face the loser of the 1:30 game and at 6 p.m., the winner of the noon game and the winner of the 1:30 game will face off.
The cost of the tournament is $20 for each of the boys alumni players and $10 for each of the girls alumni players.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to help fund the school’s basketball program.
