The Summerland Curling Club played host last week to the BCIMCA Zone 3 70-plus Grand Master Men’s Playdowns
It was three afternoons of good curling, with three teams from Kelowna, two from Summerland, a team each from Penticton, Oliver and Osoyoos. The final was a close game with the Lewis team from Kelowna, including skip Terry Lewis, third Ken Paul, second Dave Foster and lead Vic Hein, defeating the team from Penticton including skip Chuck Clubine, third Doug Cade, second Meriel McKennley and lead Don St John.
Organizers were senior league members Eric Johnson and Darcy Dunn. Father and son duo of Cliff and Gord White looked after the ice.
