The Diamond Backs hosted the Summerland Blue team in Mosquito division baseball on May 8, winning 12-5.
Pitching for Summerland were Ethan Brennan, Mereno Coco and Riley Hanley.
All players received a baseball bat pendant as a souvenir for the tournament. No MVP was awarded for the final game.
Michael Johnstone pounded one out into left field for a double.
Tieran Foley got his first base hit of the season.
Mereno Coco did a fantastic job pitching for two innings. One strike out, and unfortunately the other team got lots of hits off of him. Caden Brennan and Dante Coco did a good job of base running as both of them scored in the first inning.
