An enthusiastic crowd attended an exhibition badminton match at Summerland Middle School last week.
The event was sponsored by Black Knight. Summerland Badminton Club juniors Simon and Nicholas Kahl and teachers played in a close match to cheers from the student spectators.
The Summerland Badminton Club is now in the second century of play in Summerland, as this year it is now 101 years old.
The club is looking to expand the juniors program and is offering free membership to interested juniors up to 19 years old.
