Dettling Electrical Contracting of Penticton has donated the labour and material to upgrade the lighting in Cabins 1 and 2 at the camp.

Beth Bonten, president of the board of the Agur Lake Camp Society, said the company has worked with the camp in the past.

“Over the years Dettling Electric have supplied the camp with labour, information, material and most of all generous support to aid us in building the best barrier-free camp available in the Okanagan,” she said.

Agur Lake Camp is a wilderness camp for families with special needs children. The camp is 22 kilometres west of Summerland. It has accessible furnished cabins and barrier-free trails.
