Dear Editor:
Too bad that Summerland did not hit the news with something truly unique and positive. Instead we hit the news with this silly trend about rainbow crosswalks.
Call it whatever you want but this trend and push for these rainbow crosswalks have never been about diversity, but rather about promoting the sexual lifestyle choices of the gay or LGBT community.
How is it that the mayor and council were elected basically on the Agricultural Land Reserve land swap Issue and now they are focusing their time on this ridiculous trend?
Please do not waste taxpayers’ time and money on something you were not voted in for.
Go back and address the real Issues.
The rainbow crosswalks have just opened a whole Pandora’s Box of more problems.
We are tired of have this trend shoved in our faces.
