Dear Editor:
On behalf of the Friends of the Gardens and the Centennial planning committee, I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped to make the Summerland Gardens Centennial celebration on July 16 and 17 a great success: our many visitors, talented artisans and musicians, hard-working volunteers, generous donors and sponsors, vendors and suppliers, and last, but certainly not least, our centennial planning team. You all helped to make the 100 Seasons in the Sun celebration a truly memorable event!
And to the Summerland Gardens and its amazing staff, thank you for hosting us. The gardens are a place of profound peace and great beauty. May its future continue to be bright and its grounds productive. It is a genuine Okanagan treasure!
