Dear Editor:
What a great idea with so many households in real need but we’re wondering, how essential it is for every household? Do we all really merit this credit?

If your household can comfortably live without the credit, we have a “giving” proposal for you. As it would be impossible to request it go back into government coffers, how about we who can, donate to those with a real need for assistance.
Please consider donating the $100 to the Summerland Food Bank or other deserving charity. Although Summerland householders won’t receive the credit until early 2023, donate now, if able, and make others’ Christmas just a wee bit better.
Thank you for your consideration and if you agree why not pass this on to friends and family across Beautiful BC.
