Dear Editor:
Kudos to the mayor, council and staff for having achieved another climate action objective of recycling kitchen waste in Summerland.
We look forward to this significant initiative that some residents using their combined efforts have been doing informally for several years.
The Alliance Community Garden and the Lutheran Gardens also deserve congratulations for their significant efforts having encouraged their gardeners, their friends and acquaintances in support of this necessary recycling endeavour.
Thank you all profoundly for your efforts and achievements in this regard.
