Dear Editor:
I love car races! That’s why I go to the Penticton Speedway to watch them on a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon.
However, having cars and pickup trucks roar up and down the residential part of Victoria Road South where I live, as if they’re qualifying for a race, wakes me up, puts everyone in danger, and ruins our otherwise enjoyable neighbourhood.
The District of Summerland should put as much care and consideration into their local road use, conditions and street signage as they do for their amazing flowerbeds throughout the community. Then we could all truly enjoy living here.
