Dear Editor:
Anyone unsure of how to vote in the upcoming recreation centre referendum should visit the present centre on Thursday morning.
At 6:30 a.m. they will find three lanes of the pool alive with members of the Orca Swim Club, hugely talented hugely enthusiastic, two lanes with adult keep-fit swimmers and the remaining lane with those either slowly swimming or water-walking,,recovering from surgery. Stay until 8:30 a.m. and the very popular Aquafit group is in full swing.
To vote “No” is to write off generations of present and future users of the recreation centre. Don’t let it happen. Use your vote wisely.
