Dear Editor:
Bravo to the Summerland Health Care Auxiliary for their decision to implement using reusable cloth bags for customer shopping.
It is time Summerland citizens make the effort to avoid using plastic to carry goods and demand a change at source for accepting all packaging materials to be collected and recycled.

Our landfill has finite capacity, we must all find ways to rethink the waste our decisions generate and volunteer to choose carefully, consume responsibly and waste not.
