Dear Editor:
Thank you to all who made the Summerland Sprint and Kids of Steel Triathlon a huge success.
Athletes, sponsors, community volunteers and of course, the patient businesses, clubs, churches, and residents of Lakeshore Drive and Crescent Beach who kindly host the event in their backyard.
So many visiting athletes commented about the beautiful venue, the kind and helpful locals - they promised to be back next year. We have a lot to be proud of.
