Dear Editor:
Ed McKay had a dream. He wanted to march a dragon through the streets of his home town.
He wanted to share his love, and his awe, of tai chi. So he pushed, pleaded and promised anything to his merry band of tai chi pupils. We pasted, painted and protested loudly, and eventually it took shape. Eddy got his dragon.
On June 4, in the Action Fest parade our group paraded his dream down the street, proud and happy to have helped him, and us, to show that it could be done. Though we won no prizes, we are satisfied that we’ve helped someone who dreamed a dream, and worked like mad to bring it to fruition.
