William Leroy “Roy” Potter passed away with his family by his side on November 22, 2011 at the age of 89 years. Survived by his loving wife, Laurine Potter; children Ashleigh Ryane “Dawn” of Summerland, BC, Sharon (Nigel) Adams of Vancouver Island, BC, Ron (Kaye) Potter of Sherwood Park, AB, Susan (Maurice) Merrick of Summerland, BC, Steve (Karen) Potter of Greenwood, BC; thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; brother Gerald Potter of Comox, BC and sister Loraine Montgomery of Spokane, WA. Roy was sadly predeceased by his son Bill Potter, brother Bertram Potter and sister Dorthea Witner. Roy was well loved for his humour and generous spirit. He touched the lives of all who knew him and will be sorrowfully missed by his loving wife Laurine, his family and many friends.
