Violet Jane McCoy of Summerland, BC passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 12, 2010 at the age of 89 years. Lovingly remembered by her children, Frances (Don Gibson) McEachern of Kamloops, BC, Virginia (Frank Macdonald) McCoy of Inverness, Cape Breton, NS, Heather (Ian Sharpe) McCoy of Smithers, BC, Alex (Brenda Kinnear) McCoy of Kamloops, BC, Neil (Kathleen) McCoy of Duncan, BC; grandchildren, Kristen (Aaron), Stacey (Michael), Erin (Caleb), Derek (Marie), Frances, Paul (Shawna), Jason (Rachel); great grandchildren, Raina, Eden, Callum, Owen; sister in law, Dorothy Forrest of Orillia, ON; many nephews and nieces. Sadly predeceased by her husband, Neil in 1993 and parents in law, Aloysius “Alex” (Celina) McCoy. Violet valued her family greatly and will be sadly missed. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, July 10th, 2010 from 1 to 4 p.m. at #17 Allen Place, Summerland, BC.
