Raymond James DUNSDON Major ret. RCAF Died bravely on May 25, 2007 in Kamloops. Born May 6, 1940, Ray was raised in Summerland. He was sadly predeceased by his parents, Jim and Jill and brother Vern. He is lovingly remembered by four children, Lissi (Tim) Broere, Laura, James and Jeannie Dunsdon, as well as four grandchildren (his pride and joy!) James, Chelsia and Thomas Dunsdon and Raymond Broere. Brother Doug (Gloria) Dunsdon, sister Marilynn (Ron) Scott of Summerland, as well as several nieces and nephews. Ray was a well decorated fi ghter pilot with the Canadian Air Force. During his career he started two aerobic teams and the Kamloops Air Show and was CO of Mt. Lolo, Kamloops. After retiring from the Military, he became a city councilor and was the 1st Ginseng grower in the area. He was also very active in the community and Rotary. Ray will be remembered for his love of life, family, fl ying, fi shing and farming. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2nd, 2007 at the Calvary Community Church, 1205 Rogers Way, Kamloops, B.C. Donations may be made in Ray’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
