Ralph Arthur Jones
September 14, 1926 – October 5, 2011. Ralph Jones passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years. Ralph, son of Roy and Lena Jones, was born in Princeton, BC and raised out on the “five mile” where the family was known as the Strawberry Jones’. Ralph was a wanderer and he and his wife Alberta spent the first years of their marriage moving around BC seeking work. They finally settled in Sicamous where Ralph drove a school bus for fifteen years until they retired to Summerland, where they lived for the past 25 years. Ralph was known as a jack of all trades, a fellow with a twinkle in his eye and a mischievous grin in his smile. Ralph was predeceased by his parents and six siblings. He leaves behind his loving wife of 61 years, Alberta, his sister Lela Corsi of Merritt, son Cliff (Bev) Jones of Bear Lake, son Art (Wendy) Jones of Sicamous, daughter Elaine (Ron) Cadden of Revelstoke, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren – all of whom will miss their “Poppa”.
