CLARK, MAVIS
July 30, 1921-April 21, 2016
It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to a dear mum, grandma and friend. Born in Northumberland, England, the youngest of 4 children, she led a very active life, including time spent in the WAAF working on the radar where she made many friends.
She was a truly unique person to whom the smallest things were a joy; a bunch of sunflowers or a newly hatched family of quail made her day. She is now united with the love of her life Vic, who predeceased her in 1978. Her family meant the world to her, as she did to us. Mavis is survived by daughter Pauline Mitchell, (Terry), son Peter Clark, grandchildren Amanda, Rebecca, Zoe and Django. Rest in peace Mum.
