Margaret Elizabeth ‘Betty’ VanHaastregt formerly McKelvey passed away with her family by her side May 28, 2016 at the age of 95 years. She will be remembered and sadly missed by her loving husband Chris VanHaastregt, children Marion (Jerry), Jim (Dorothy), Theresa, John (Vonnie), Joe (Shirley), Colleen, and Ed (Kim); 23 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; and siblings Joe (Vera), Tony (Ethna) and Bertha. She is sadly predeceased by daughters Lenora and Eileen, granddaughter Jenny and grandsons Gerry, Cory and Steven. Mass of Christian Burial was held June 6, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Gardens of Gethsemani, 15800 32 Ave., Surrey, BC.
