In loving memory ~
Lanette Elizabeth Morden passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at the age of 73.
She was predeceased by her husband Alexander Yakunin who passed away Nov 19, 2011, passed away also by her parents Clint and Jeanette Morden of ON., and her brother Nick Morden also of ON.
Cherished sister to Jennifer Knoll (Summerland), Kathy Bender, Jill Pearcy, Penny Arat, and Kristen Morden all from Ontario.
Also, many nieces & nephews of ON., and Christopher and Robin Knoll of Summerland.
Upon moving to Summerland from Calgary, Lane Hex Alex opened the Café on Kelly in July of 2000. It operated for 3 years before selling.
Lanette's biggest pleasure was working as a volunteer at the Thrift store for almost 20 years.
It was one of her greatest passions, and when she had to give it up for health reasons, it was very hard for her.
She will be greatly missed by family & friends, but she lived her life well.
As requested by Lanette there will be no service.
