Passed in his 94th year on February 15, 2012 at Moog & Friends Hospice in Penticton following a short battle with cancer. Stu is predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Eunice, and brother Bob. Dad will be lovingly missed by sons John (Andrea) and Mike (Ruth), grandchildren Christy (Jason) Nordin, Gary (Terri) Gregg, Jeff (Sarah) Gregg and Alan Gregg. Uncle Stu will also be dearly missed by his nieces and nephews Darla (Gary) Van Horne, Trevor Gregg, Bob Gauthier, Carolyn (Bob) Cooper, Lorraine Kern, Brenda (Barrie) Johnston and Ted (Audrey) Fleming and close friend Mavis Boyd. Stu was born in Vancouver and lived there most of his life until 1998 when he moved to Penticton. He served overseas from 1941 to 1945 in the RCAF with 404 squadron. Stu loved sports, world travel and making things. He designed and built everything from houses and furniture to wrought iron work and industrial machinery. As a young man he enjoyed playing baseball, lacrosse and he took up golf which would be a life-long passion, a game Stu played to his final year. The family thanks Doctors Toneff and Westby and the Staffs of Athens Creek Lodge, Moog & Friends Hospice and Nurse Next Door for their care and support during Stu’s ill health.
