(Greg) Edwin Leslie Gregory October 4, 1918 - May 29, 2007 and Daughter Reverend Joy Janet Gregory November 2, 1959 - June 9, 2007 Joy passed away June 9, 2007 in Vancouver at age 47. Joy was predeceased by her father, Edwin Gregory and survived by her loving mother Elizabeth Gregory. She grew up in Vancouver and Summerland, and played in the Summerland Secondary School band, with camping trips to Utah every summer. She graduated from Western Washington University in 1981, majoring in Music and Special Education. She joined Joy Fellowship, a congregation which serves/serving people with disabilities. Beginning as a volunteer, she eventually came to be a full-time pastor with Joy Fellowship, and was ordained by the BUWC June 2000. She pursued her studies and received a Master of Divinity from Regent/ Carey, and Doctorate of Ministry from Carey Theological College in 2007. “Greg” Gregory was born in England, October 4, 1918. He spent 6 years in the Army Engineering Corps working on radar and other new technologies. After the war, he completed his degree. He couldn’t fi nd a job in England so he moved to Canada with his mother. Greg worked in Vancouver with the City Waterworks as an engineer for over 30 years, and was well-spoken of by his colleagues. He married Elizabeth in 1958 and they had their only child, Joy, a year later. When he retired, they moved to Summerland, where Greg loved his work, his workshop, photography, classical music and camping in Utah. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth. Their daughter Joy died only 11 days after Greg.
