Gordon Edgar Bedford of Penticton passed away on October 31, 2016 at the age of 92 years. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his daughters; Toni Marie Hollister and Donna Scott. Gordon’s parents were vaudevillians who owned their own show. They had eight children and they all played in the shows. There were two girls and six boys of whom Gordon was the third youngest. They travelled all around but finally settled down in Calgary. He was a member of the Armed Forces for thirty years and joined several clubs including the Shriners (Masons), Royal Canadian Legion, and the Historical Society of Tombstone. Gordon later worked for the post office twenty five years and was postmaster in Bassano, AB until he retired to Tombstone. There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
