Creighton William Smith passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the age of 71 years.
He will be remembered and sadly missed by his best friend and wife of 51 years, Sharin Smith, son Jason, and granddaughter Shantaia Broeckx-Smith.
Also left to mourn are his brother Gordon (Diane) Smith and sister Thelma (Lory) Kirton, along with all of his extended family, many friends, neighbours, and fishing buddies. He was predeceased by his parents Charlie and Agnus Smith.
Creighton lived a happy and full life, doing what he loved and loving what he did. He had a great sense of humour and loved telling jokes and making people laugh.
He touched many lives through his many passions, some of which included hockey, ocean fishing, cross country skiing, gardening, camping trips, and tending to the birds in his yard. When he wasn't off camping or fishing one would find him working on his many home renovation projects.
A private family graveside service will be held in the near future.
