Traffic was backed up on Highway 97 following an accident Friday around 2 p.m.
A car, travelling north, collided with a work truck parked on the highway during road work.
Emergency crews were called to rescue the 64-year-old Penticton woman from the vehicle. She was taken to the Penticton Regional Hospital with minor injuries, Summerland RCMP say.
An investigation into the accident is continuing.
