Two Summerland wineries have been recognized as among the top in Canada.
At the 2018 WineAlign National Wine Awards of Canada, Fitzpatrick Family Vineyards and Thornhaven Estates Winery both placed in the top 10 small wineries in Canada.
Fitzpatrick Family Vineyards was ranked third, with five gold, one silver and one bronze.
Thornhaven took the 10th spot with one platinum, one gold and one silver.
The two wineries are both part of Summerland’s Bottleneck Drive group of wineries, cideries, breweries and distilleries.
In the WineAlign list of the top 25 wineries in Canada, Fitzpatrick was ranked 10th and Thornhaven was ranked 25th.
