Summerland schools have more potential COVID-19 exposures

Interior Health has added more possible COVID-19 exposures at schools in Summerland.

Summerland Middle School added Nov. 23 and 24 to their dates.

Giant’s Head Elementary also added Nov. 23 and 24 to the list.

Potential exposures are reported when a student or member of staff tests positive for COVID-19.

Summerland is quickly growing in COVID-19 cases, with the last three weeks straight seeing double the cases recorded from the week before.

Interior Health is still listing the dates of Nov. 18 and 19 for Summerland Secondary and Penticton Secondary, and for Nov. 18 at KVR Middle School.
