Organizers say the fair will include children’s activities, zucchini races, music, food vendors, non-profit and service clubs, a farmers’s tailgate and a mini-exhibition.
In addition, the annual Grade 5 Gardening Contest will proceed this year. At present, 13 young gardeners have signed up to participate in the event.
The Summerland Fall Fair began in 1909 to showcase local agriculture. In 2020, it was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2021, the Summerland Fall Fair had some booths set up at the Summerland Farmers Market for one day in late September.
