Summerland candidate forum planned for Sept. 20

The Summerland Chamber of Commerce will hold a candidate forum for those seeking a seat on Summerland’s municipal council.

The forum will be held at Centre Stage Theatre on Tuesday, Sept. 20, beginning at 6 p.m.

The election for Summerland’s mayor, six councillors and two school trustees will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15. The deadline for nominations is Friday, Sept. 9.

Those elected will serve for four-year terms.
