A fund-raising dinner for Summerland’s youth development initiative is planned for March 6 at Zia’s Stonehouse Restaurant.
The event is being organized to raise money for the Summerland Asset Development Initiative.
SADI is a movement started in 1998 to build developmental assets in young people.
Developmental assets are defined by SADI as characteristics that young people need to develop positive values and become more caring and responsible.
SADI is a movement that engages community members to become involved with young people and provide them with opportunities to take leadership roles within the community.
SADI offers an after school drop-in program for youth ages 10 to 18, Tuesday movie nights and additional activities on Friday nights.
Guests at SADI’s fundraising dinner will enjoy live entertainment, a silent auction and a live auction.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for dinner at 6 p.m. Zia’s is located at 14015 Rosedale Ave.
