Plane allegedly damaged in Vernon airport mischief

RCMP look to identify three individuals in late night vandalism

Police are looking to identify some mischievious suspects who broke into the Vernon aiport recently.

Three individuals climbed over a security fence and onto the airfield at Vernon Regional Airport Saturday, April 20 around 11 p.m.

Once inside, the trio allegedly accessed and climbed in and out of several of the aircraft on the ground which resulted in several thousand dollars worth of damages to one one of the aircrafts.

“We’re releasing these photographs to the public hoping someone will either know who they are, or will have information that will assist in furthering our investigation,” said Const. Chris Terleski, Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media relations officer.
