Home on fire near Penticton’s Beaver Dell Road

The fire appears to be at a structure near the end of Garnet Way, up a private driveway.

A house is on fire in the outskirts of Penticton, in the Beaver Dell Rd area.

The fire appears to be at a home near the end of Garnet Way, up a private driveway. RCMP is on scene.

A reporter on scene has confirmed a home is burning. The fire has been ongoing since at least 8:30 p.m.

The flames, visible from town, have created a stir on social media.

It is unclear at this time the cause of the fire, or any possible injuries.
