UPDATE July 13:
RCMP is investigating a fatal collision that occurred Highway 97A in Spallumcheen Tuesday morning.
Shortly after 11 a.m., July 12, the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP, and personnel from the BC Emergency Health Services and Armstrong Spallumcheen Fire Rescue Services responded to a collision at the interchange of Highway 97 and 97A just north of Vernon.
The investigation has determined a pickup truck travelling northbound veered into oncoming traffic, striking two vehicles before colliding head on with a dump truck.
