The Summerland and Penticton Fire Departments hosted the British Columbia Fire Training Officers Conference May 22 to 26.

Firefighters from around the province were in Summerland last week for training. The Summerland and Penticton Fire Departments hosted the British Columbia Fire Training Officers Conference May 22 to 26. Skills taught included strategy and tactics, forceable entry, rapid intervention, survival training and wildfire training.
