For 40 Summerland residents, the holiday season has included charitable presents through World Vision.
Kristian Foster of World Vision Canada said Summerlanders purchased $8,913 worth of items through the World Vision Gift Catalogue this year.
The items included livestock, clean water and medical supplies for children and families in developing countries.
