Area I: Monteith named director of Kaleden region of RDOS

Director for newly created Area I - Kaleden/Twin Lakes/St. Andrews/Skaha West

Subrina Monteith will be the first director for the newly-formed Area I (Kaleden/Twin Lakes/St. Andrews/Skaha West) region in the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen.

Monteith earned 349 votes to beat out Gary Vollet (175 votes).

The new electoral area was created after splitting from the boundary of Area D (Okanagan Falls/Skaha East)/.
