A 23-year-old visitor of the Penticton Sikh Temple was arrested after allegedly making threats and aggressively swinging two large swords.

On Jan. 22, officers responded to the disturbance inside the Sikh Temple at 3290 S Main Street.

Police were able to arrest the 23-year-old temple visitor. No one was injured in the incident, said police.

The investigation is ongoing, as officers continue to gather further information.

The accused was later released to attend Penticton Provincial Court at a future date.
