Red Barn Ranch will be hosting pony rides for children and adults on Dec. 27 from noon to 4 p.m.

Participants can also warm up around a bonfire while enjoying hot chocolate, coffee and hotdogs. Half of the fees from the pony rides and concession will be donated to support a charity which helps rescue girls from human trafficking. A separate donation box will be set up and all contributions there will be donated directly to this cause.

Red Barn Ranch is a small privately-owned horse ranch which has been holding Christian horse camps for youth in Summerland.

The camps usually run during spring break or summer months. Red Barn Ranch is at 15902 Prairie Valley Rd.
