Concert to show cultural heritage

A concert of indigenous cultural heritage will be staged in Penticton at the beginning of May.

A concert of indigenous cultural heritage from North and South America and the South Pacific will be staged in Penticton at the beginning of May.

The 90-minute concert, Living Legends, will be staged by Brigham Young University.

It will be held at the Cleland Community Theatre in Penticton on May 1 beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The 38-member cast and crew are all of Latin American aboriginal or Polynesian heritage. The troupe was formed at Brigham Young University in Utah in 1971.
