Remembering our Uncle Harry ~ Born and raised in Summerland, a true historian and knew in detail Summerland's history. He was an orchardist and outdoor enthusiast... from motorcycles to flying single engine airplanes...from hunting to skiing down the mountain slopes.
Uncle Harry was loved by all his family and he always knew what was going on in their lives...the good parts and the challenging parts. He was always concerned for each and everyone.
A year has past and Uncle Harry is in our thoughts and our hearts.
Uncle Harry would end conversations with ''We'll leave it at then. Talk to you soon'' So I will say ...''We'll leave it at then. Talk to you soon.''
Love from your family.
A Memorial Bench is at Angus Place in Uncle Harry's honour.
"Come sit awhile."
