Okanagan School of Arts presents original musical How Far We’ll Go

The show promises humour and song and plays at Tempest Theatre in Penticton June 15-18

It’s showtime and the Okanagan School of the Arts first musical of the year is promising the audience an evening of song and humour.

“How Far We’ll Go,” is a radio play musical using existing songs and an original script, and features over 20 talented local performers. The show will run June 15-18 at Tempest Theatre with a 7:30 p.m. start.

The plot follows a group of adventurers on a space trip to Nereid, a moon of Neptune. Highlights include a gorgeous ballad from Sister Act, a stirring tune from Shrek: The Musical, space ogres, and a poor co-pilot’s failed attempts to turn everything into a musical cue. Come join us for an evening of song and humour!

The main goal is to share a wonderful theatre experience, but if additional funds are raised through the production, they will support the OSA’s ongoing community arts programming.
