The Summerland Curling Club is inviting people to come out and give the sport a try then join them for a burger and a beer.

The club will be holding the $20 event at the Summerland Curling Club next to the hockey arena on Nov. 26 at 3 p.m.

After about 30 minutes of instruction, there will be another hour and a half of curling for everyone who comes out, after which there will be burgers and beer in the lounge upstairs.

“Come as a group or come on your own, either way you are sure to have fun. Don’t forget to invite people to come and watch,” says the club.

The club will be providing all of the equipment, however people will need to bring their own clean shoes to wear on the ice.

Registration is required and can be done by emailing info@summerlandcurling.org.
