The eight candidates in Summerland’s royalty program presented speeches about their sponsors at the Blossom Tea on Sunday afternoon.
The tea was held at the Summerland Waterfront Resort and also included a fashion show with candidates and reigning royalty participating.
This is one of the judged events for the pageant participants.
The final events in the pageant will include the Blossom Pageant, when the Blossom Queen and two princesses will be selected. The pageant will be held in early May at Centre Stage Theatre in Summerland.
