A Tuesday market in Summerland will begin April 30 and continue until Sept. 24.
The event will run each week from 8:30 a.m., until 1 p.m. in Memorial Park.
Cassandra Fisher, organizer of the market, said there are 30 permanent vendors registered for this season, with spaces also available for drop-in vendors.
“We’ve more than quadrupled our numbers from last year,” she said.
She added that the market, which started in 2023, has had strong support from the community and visitors.
Fisher said the market supports and promotes young entrepreneurs while offering live music, food, drink and treats.
This year the market will also offer wine, beer and cider tastings from three or more local wineries, breweries and cideries.
While Summerland also has a market on Main Street each Sunday from late spring until early fall, the market in Memorial Park is not connected to the Sunday market.
