The 1st Summerland Venturers and Rovers are fundraising for their year-end trip on Saturday, Oct. 8.
The owner of Tumbaleena’s Emporium invited the scouts to host a barbecue for the grand opening of the store at 9901 Main St. in Summerland.
All of the 1st Summerland Venturers and Rovers have been involved with the program for years, starting as young Beavers and Cubs. They will be selling hamburgers and hot dogs, coffee, pop, and water from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The grand opening of Tumbaleena’s Emporium will be held Saturday, Oct. 8 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It includes an in-house silent auction which closes at 5:30 p.m.
